WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS DOES PEÑÍN ORGANISES?

Peñín Professional Shows: showroom tasting events in which each exhibitor presents its products (wines, spirits or vermouths) to the attendees. The public of these shows are professionals with purchasing or prescription capacity. Consult the calendar here.

Customized events: Peñín offers the possibility of organizing any type of activity related to the world of wine and gastronomy according to your needs: shows, wine tastings, corporate events, team building activities, among others. You can find more information here.

WHAT ARE THE SELECTION TASTING SHOWROOMS?

National or international events with a professional tasting showroom format in which only those wineries that meet at least one of the following criteria can participate:

  • Have wines rated 90 or more Peñín Guide points.
  • Obtained 3, 4 or 5 stars for their wines due to their good value for money.

WHAT ARE THE " TOP WINES"?

It is the category that includes those wines rated with 90 points or more in the Peñín Guide and is one of the selection criteria we use for our events.

WHAT ARE THE "BEST BUYS"?

They are wines with 3, 4 or 5 stars in the Peñín Guide for their good value for money. It is a selection criteria we use for the events we organize both nationally and internationally.

WHAT IS A WINE GALLERY?

It is the format chosen by Peñín to participate in major international fairs. In this space, visitors can freely taste the wines on display, which are accompanied by their technical specifications (type, producing area, variety, price, number of bottles, winery contact...), and receive advice from members of the Peñín team. The selection of wines is always subject to quality criteria.

I am a Cellar

CAN I PARTICIPATE IN PEÑÍN PROFESSIONAL TRADE SHOWS?

Wineries wishing to participate in our events must meet two requirements: their wines must have been tasted in the Peñín Guide and they must meet the selection criteria for each event. Our main characteristic, which differentiates us from other companies, is that we only select those wines that meet the scoring criteria and, therefore, can prove their quality.

HOW CAN I REGISTER?

In all the events published on the website you can choose the option "I wish to attend as exhibitor" or contact us by sending an email to salones@guiapenin.com. Check the calendar here.

I HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED AS AN EXHIBITOR AT A SHOW, WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING TO THE EVENT?

You only need to bring the wines you will present, as Peñín will provide you with a dressed table and all the necessary materials for the professional tasting: glasses, spittoons, champagne coolers, corkscrews, picks, napkins, water, etc. Peñín also prepares the signage and other graphic materials for the event, so roll-ups or any other type of large format signage are not allowed in order to preserve the uniform image of the event.

I am a company operating in the wine and gastronomy sector

CAN I PARTICIPATE IN PEÑÍN EVENTS?

Our events are the best promotional platform for wine and gastronomy professionals and Spanish wineries. DOES MY PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNT ENTITLE ME TO ATTEND PEÑÍN EVENTS?

Having a professional account on our website does not guarantee you the right to attend Peñín events, as visitors must demonstrate purchasing or prescribing capacity.

HOW CAN I GET AN ACCREDITATION?

You can request it through the page of each event, in the "I wish to attend as a visitor" button, or by sending an email to acreditaciones@guiapenin.com, where you must indicate the event you wish to attend and all your professional data. Check the upcoming events here.

HOW CAN I SIGN UP FOR A SCHEDULED TASTING/ACTIVITY AT THE PEÑÍN SHOWS?

You can sign up directly through our website by clicking on the "Sign up" option, which you will find when you select the activity you are interested in within the program of each show. Your place will not be booked until you receive confirmation from the Peñín team. Check the upcoming events here.

CMO subsidies

WHAT IS CMO AID FOR PROMOTION IN THIRD COUNTRIES?

The European Union, through the Common Market Organization (CMO), co-finances (with 50% of the total cost) the wine promotion actions carried out by the interested entities -in this case the wineries- with the aim of exporting their products to third countries. ARE PEÑÍN EVENTS ELIGIBLE FOR OCM SUBSIDIES?
