Barbanza e Iria Vino de la Tierra / I.G.P.

The last geographical indication to be granted to the autonomous region of Galicia back in 2007, Barbanza e Iria is located within the Ribera de la Ría de Arosa wine region, in the north of the province of Pontevedra. They make both red an white wines from with varieties such as albariño, caíño blanco, godello, loureiro blanco (also known as marqués), treixadura and torrontés (white); and brancellao, caíño tinto, espadeiro, loureiro tinto, mencía and susón (red).
