SituATION

Located in the south of the province of Cádiz, a vast region with a long history of wine production, the “Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz” comprises 15 municipalities still under the regulations of the DO regarding grape production, but not winemaking. The authorised white varieties are: garrido, palomino, chardonnay, moscatel, mantúa, perruno, macabeo, sauvignon blanc y pedro ximénez; as well as the red tempranillo, syrah, cabernet sauvignon, garnacha tinta, monastrel, merlot, tintilla de rota, petit verdot and cabernet franc.
