Situation
Recognized by the Junta de Andalucía on March the 11th 2009. The production area includes the towns of Lebrija and El Cuervo, in the province of Sevilla.
The wines ascribed to the “Vino de Calidad de Lebrija” designation of quality will be made solely from the following grape varieties:
- White varieties: moscatel de Alejandría, palomino, palomino fino, sauvignon blanc and that traditionally known as vidueño (montúo de pilas, mollar cano, moscatel morisco, perruno).
- Red varieties: cabernet sauvignon, syrah, tempranillo, merlot and tintilla de Rota.
Types of wines: white, red, generosos (fortified) and generosos de licor, naturally sweet and mistelas.
