Picapoll blanc
Synonyms: clarirette blanche (France).
White variety of Spanish origin, native to the Catalan region of Pla de Bages (Barcelona). It has a late cycle, with thick-skinned berries, which gives it good resistance to fungal diseases.
The wines made from this variety are fresh, fruity and quite acidic. This acidity gives it great potential for aging in barrel or bottle.
