Ribera del Andarax Vino de la Tierra / I.G.P.

SituaTION

The Ribera del Andarax wine region is located in the middle area of the Andarax river valley at an altitude of 700 to 900 meters. Soils are varied in structure, with abundant slate, clay and sand. It enjoys an extreme mediterranean climate, with low occasional rainfall and high average temperatures. The grape varieties present in the region are predominantly macabeo, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc (white); and cabernet sauvignon, merlot, syrah, garnacha, tempranillo, monastrell and pinot noir (red).
