Ribera del Gállego-Cinco Villas Vino de la Tierra / I.G.P.

SituaTION

Ribera del Gállego-Cinco Villas wine region is located in the territory along the Gállego river valley until it almost reaches the city of Zaragoza. Although small, its vineyards are shared between the provinces of Huesca and Zaragoza. Soils are mostly gravel in structure, which affords good drainage. The grape varieties used for wine production are garnacha, tempranillo, carbernet sauvignon and merlot (red), and mostly macabeo for white wines.
