SituaTION
Ribera del Jiloca, located in the south-eastern part of Aragón along the Jiloca river valley, is a wine region with a great winemaking potential, given its geo-climatic conditions. Vines are mostly planted on slate terraces perched on the slopes of the Sistema Ibérico mountain range, at high altitude, something that affords wines of great quality and singularity. Vines are planted mostly on alluvial limestone terraces of ancient river beds. Garnacha is the predominant grape, followed by macabeo. A dry climate, abundant sunlight hours and cold winters are the features that account for the excellent quality of the local grapes.
