Sierras de Las Estancias y de los Filabres Vino de la Tierra / I.G.P.

SituaTION

Located in the namesake mountain region in the province of Almería, this VT I.G.P.was approved along with its regulations in 2008. The grape varieties planted in the region are airén, chardonnay, macabeo, sauvignon blanc and moscatel de grano menudo –also known as morisco–, all of them white; and red cabernet sauvignon, merlot, monastrell, tempranillo, syrah, garnacha tinta, pinot noir and petit verdot.
