GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINES
WHITES
The most outstanding are those made with chardonnay, either as young wines or barrel fermented, which give whites with powerful aromas, with good varietal definition, fatty and tasty in the mouth. Excellent gewürztraminer whites can also be found where the lychee aromas offered by the variety itself stand out.
ROSÉS
Made from native or foreign grapes, they follow the line of modern rosés: pinkish-raspberry color, good fruit intensity, light, fresh and easy to drink.
RED WINE
Historically, the traditional red wine of the region is made from Moristel and Tempranillo and is characterized by being remarkably fruity and intense. There are also very interesting experiences of monovarietals of local grapes, specifically moristel and parraleta, of remarkable quality; both vinified as young wines and characterized by an excellent fruity character and a certain complexity of nuances. In the rest of the red wines, the presence of foreign varieties, blended with the local ones or presented separately, is imposed. The Cabernets and Merlot crianza wines stand out for their varietal character, aromatic power and good blending with the oak, due to not excessively long aging; in the mouth, they present a good structure.
