Valle del Cinca Vino de la Tierra / I.G.P.

SituaTION

Located in the southeast of the province of Huesca, almost bordering with Catalunya, Valle del Cinca is a traditional wineregion that enjoys favourable climatic and soil conditions for vine growing: soils are mainly limestone and clay, and the average annual rainfall barely reaches 300 mm (irrigation is usually required). Grape varieties predominantly planted in the region are macabeo and chardonnay (white), along with garnacha tinta, tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and merlot (red).
