SituaTION

The production area includes the entire island of Ibiza (Eivissa), with the vineyards located in small valleys amongst the mountains –which are never higher than 500 meters– on clay-reddish soil covered by a thin limestone crust. Low rainfall levels and hot, humid summers are the most interesting climatic features. The authorized red varieties are monastrell, tempranillo, cabernetsauvignon, merlot and syrah; macabeo, parellada, malvasía, chardonnay and moscatel make up the white-grape catalogue.
