Made with the native variety hondarrabi zuri, however, they may include a small percentage of red grapes (hondarrabi beltza) in the blend. Chacolí de Getaria is characterized by its pale steely color; the clean and frank character of the wine on the nose, with pleasantly herbaceous notes and, in the best cases, with floral traits; in the mouth it is very fresh due to its high acidity, and light; some carbon dioxide may also appear.
