The Recata or Second Tasting allows our team of tasters to establish the definitive scores of the best rated wines of each edition, a unique exercise in wine prescription that only the Peñín Guide carries out.
After the first tasting phase, the Peñín team selects the wines with the highest scores, those that have obtained 95 or more points for a second comparative tasting. These references are grouped by scores, categories and styles, and are prepared to be re-evaluated in a comparative tasting. With these results, the Peñín Guide Podium of the year is defined.
